What is this tool?

Postal Pulse is a civic engagement tool that helps Chicago residents contact their ward representatives about pending city ordinances. Instead of having to research your ward, find contact information, and write a formal letter, this tool simplifies the process.

How it works:

  1. Choose an ordinance: Select from current Chicago ordinances that may impact residents
  2. Find your ward: Enter your Chicago address to automatically identify your ward representative
  3. Send your letter: We'll send a professional opposition letter with your name directly to your ward representative

Your privacy:

Lucy Parsons Labs only collects the information necessary to send your letter. Your address is used solely to identify your ward and is not stored by us. Geocoding is done using the City of Chicago's "Find Your Ward and Alderman" service. Letters are sent from this tool directly to your ward representative's official email address.
